Welcome
Hey there!
I'm Ricardo, a curious full-stack Javascript software engineer focusing on e2e front-end development. I have been working professionally with Vue since 2017 and by 2020 Nuxt was my personal default. This site is my tribute to these amazing technologies, the supporting tools in their ecosystem, and all the people behind its community. Thank you all for empowering us to ship vuesome apps fast and confidently, at any scale. 🚀
Vuesome
is a new adjective I'm proposing to describe anything awesome built or done with Vue.
Why this site
I created this site to share my experience developing apps with several variations of the Vue/Nuxt tech stack, along with the softer yet essential skills required for engineering software internationally as a career.
Through a collection of case studies and use cases, I openly document my real-world insights into using this tech stack in production, across different industries, and in multiple roles (founder, consultant, and teammate).
I aim to provide functional resources that give back to the community that has given me so much. I hope my content sparks your creativity, accelerates your implementation, or challenges you with fresh perspectives in the same way that many great conversations have done for me, particularly after being stuck in the same patterns for some time.
It might sound highly opinionated, but it's not intended to be dogmatic. I do not claim that any of these insights are the "right" or "only" way of doing things.
I embrace change and diversity.
What is published here reflects my evolving perception and what I have found most valuable and impactful to my daily work and career. So please read everything with an open mind. Take what feeds your growth, act on what inspires, experiment with what is interesting, and drop what doesn't click with you. I sincerely hope it helps you enrich your toolkit, avoid headaches, stay curious, and have more fun while engineering vuesome stuff!
All the best from Berlin, Germany! 🇩🇪
